Description:
Instalaciones Inabensa S.A. (Inabensa), the Spanish engineering subsidiary of engineering and energy conglomerate Abengoa, is focused on four business segments —transmission and distribution; infrastructure and facilities; railways; and equipment manufacturing. The firm is present in more than 25 countries, and Latin American operations account for 23%, with projects in Chile, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil. Some of its projects include a 110MW PV solar plant and subway lines, in Chile; a penitentiary center and 170MW of wind farms, in Uruguay; the Zona Norte hospital, in Brazil; and a cultural center, in Mexico; as well as substations and transmission lines in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama and Guatemala. Inabensa was founded in 1994 and is based in Seville.
