Description

Abertis Infraestructuras S.A. (Abertis) is a Spanish group that operates in the highway infrastructure sector in 14 countries worldwide. In the region it is present in Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Brazil. Abertis directly manages over 8,600km of roads and holds interests in companies that manage other 700km. The company is also the majority stakeholder of Spanish satellite company Hispasat which has a strong presence in Latin America. In 2016, the company acquired control over Italian road concessionaire A4 Holding, adding 235m to its portfolio. Abertis Infraestructuras was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Madrid.
