Argentine toll road operator Autopistas del Sol S.A. (Ausol) holds a 120km highway concession, comprised of the Acceso Norte access road and the General Paz beltway. The concession contract includes the construction, overhaul, upgrade, revamp and expansion of the highways, it was awarded in 1994 and expires in 2020. The 95km Acesso Norte highway (67km toll-free) connects Buenos Aires with the northern and coastal suburbs. The General Paz highway is part of the beltway surrounding Buenos Aires City, and is a toll-free section spanning 24km. The company operates 19 toll collection areas. Buenos Aires-based Ausol is made up of Spanish company Abertis (31.59%); Italian firm Salini-Impregilo (19.82%); Argentina's Natal Inversiones (14.12%); and Spanish firms Dycasa (1.75%) and ACS (2.68%%).
