Banco Interamericano de Finanzas (BanBif) is Peru's fifth largest commercial bank. It provides a wide range of banking products and services, including deposit accounts, loans and mortgages, to individual and corporate clients through its national network of 85 branches. In 2014, Latin American trade finance bank Bladex closed a US$100mn, three-year syndicated bullet loan with BanBif. The proceeds from the financing facility will be used to support the growth of BanBif's trade-related operations. Founded in 1990 and based in Lima, BanBif is part of Spanish conglomerate Ignacio Fierro, which holds a stake in the bank through its subsidiaries Britton S.A. and Landy S.A.
