Description

Honduras's national port company ENP is a decentralized governmental institution created in 1966 to provide port services and facilities in the country's different ports. Among its activities ENP develops port infrastructure, coordinates port activities, attends ships entering and leaving the country, and provides hauling, stowage and cargo storage services. Among its projects was the expansion and modernization of Puerto Cortes, a terminal that moves about 350,000 containers a year, and the largest port in the country. At present, it is building storage warehouses for inorganic products in Puerto Cortés.
