Description

YPFB Chaco, formerly Empresa Petrolera Chaco, is a Bolivian hydrocarbons exploration and production company controlled by state company YPFB. Headquartered in Santa Cruz, the company was nationalized in 2009. Its assets include 21 exploration areas (14 in production and seven reserves) and a non-operating interest in two exploration areas. YPFB Chaco also owns generator Compañía Eléctrica Central Bulo Bulo, in Cochabamba, and the LPG bottling plant Flamagas, in Santa Cruz.
