YPFB Chaco, formerly Empresa Petrolera Chaco, is a Bolivian oil and gas exploration and production company, controlled by state hydrocarbons company YPFB. Its assets include an exploration block and 21 areas in Bolivian departments Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Chuquisaca and Tarija, including the fields Bulo Bulo, Carrasco, San Roque, El Dorado, Santa Rosa and Los Cusis, among others. It also has a non-operating interest in blocks XX Tarija Oeste, Ñupuco and Charagua. The company is also engaged in power generation through Compañía Eléctrica Central Bulo Bulo, while its subsidiary Flamagas is engaged in LPG distribution throughout the country and is the owner of an LPG bottling plant in the city of Santa Cruz. YPFB Chaco was nationalized in 2009.
