Brazil's Mato Grosso do Sul state water utility Sanesul is a state-owned company which provides water supply and sewage services in Mato Grosso du Sol, covering 125 localities, 68 municipalities and 57 districts. In 2000 the company was restructured horizontally into a single general management including three directors and six management units named after the main waterways of the state's hydrographic basins. Sanesul has 20 water treatment plants, 357 active wells and 35 water treatment stations. The company was incorporated in 1979 and is based in Campo Grande, Brazil.
