Chile's public works ministry MOP is the government agency in charge of regulating, providing and managing public infrastructure projects and services through planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation and administration. Its main aims are to foster territorial integration and contribute to economic, social and cultural development. MOP's working areas include connectivity, public construction and development of water resources. It is also responsible for enforcing the country's concession legislation and water code.
