Perenco Plc is an Anglo-French oil and gas company with onshore and offshore operations in 13 countries across Northern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America (Colombia, Guatemala, Peru and Venezuela).The privately-held company's portfolio comprises producing fields, development projects and exploration prospects with a total operated gross production of 450,000boe/d. In Colombia, it operates fields in the Llanos basin through association and concession contracts, and it has contracts with the oil & gas regulator and one non-operated contract. In Guatemala, the company produces oil in the Xan field, north-west Petén region; in Venezuela, the company has interests in the Colón, Pedernales and Ambrosio fields through public-private partnerships with state oil company PDVSA. Meanwhile, in Peru, Perenco holds a 50% interest in block 67, located in the Marañón basin, Loreto region, which began producing crude oil by the end of 2013.
