MetLife Chile Seguros de Vida S.A. is a life insurance company. It provides individual and group life, as well as accident and health insurance. In 2012, MetLife Chile Seguros de Vida merged with La Interamericana Compañía de Seguros de Vida S.A., after US-based MetLife Inc. acquired Alico, the former parent company of La Interamericana, in 2010. After the merger, MetLife Chile Seguros de Vida became the largest insurance firm in the country. The company is headquartered in Santiago, Chile.
