Peruvian natural gas producer Aguaytia Energy del Perú S.R.L engages in the exploration, extraction, transport, storage and processing of natural gas from Block 31-C in Ucayali department in the Peruvian rainforest. The company was awarded its 30-year concession in 1994. The company produces LPG and natural gasoline at its fractionation plant in Yarinacocha district. It supplies its subsidiary Termoselva S.R.L. with dry gas to generate electricity at the Aguaytia thermoelectric power plant in Padre Abad province, Ucayali department. Aguaytia Energy's other subsidiary, Eteselva S.R.L., engages in electricity transmission, operating a 392.7km transmission line. Aguaytía Energy del Perú is a subsidiary of Aguaytia Energy LLC, which since 2016 is controlled by Orazul Energía Perú S.A.C. and is ultimately owned by private equity fund ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund. Lima-based Aguaytía Energy was incorporated in 1995 and began commercial operations in 1998.
