Brazil's Caixa De Previdencia Dos Funcionarios Do Banco Do Brasil (Previ) is the pension fund for the employees of federally controlled banking giant Banco do Brasil. It is a so-called closed fund, which caters only to one company or industry. The company is the largest pension fund in Brazil and Latin America and 24th largest globally. The Rio de Janeiro-based firm invests in Brazil's public equity markets, with almost 50% of its investments being in commercial ventures. Previ was founded in 1904.
