Description

Compañía de Electricidad de Tuluá S.A (CETSA), a subsidiary of Colombian power utility Celsia, supplies electricity to the municipalities of Tuluá and San Pedro, in the Valle del Cauca department. It is responsible for operating the 1.7MW Rio Frío I, 10MW Rio Frío II and 2.5MW El Rumor run-of-river hydroelectric power plants, which are connected to the country's National Interconnected System (SIN), serving more than 57,000 clients. Ultimately controlled by Argos Group, CETSA is majority owned by EPSA (87.2%), another Celsia subsidiary, with minority interests held by Tuluá's funding, promotion and development agency Infituluá (7.9%), Tuluá's municipal government (1.2%) and Colener S.A.S., another of Celsia's subsidiaries. The firm was established in 1920 and is based in Tuluá.
