Echoenergia e Participações S.A (Echoenergia) is a Brazilian company engaged in the development of power generation projects from renewable sources. The company has a total installed capacity of 346MW, with projects in Pernambuco State —the 216MW Ventos de São Clemente Wind Park— and in Ceará State —the 130MW Ventos de Tianguá Wind Park. In early 2018, its two newest wind farms, Pedra Rajada I and Pedra Rajada II, located in Cerro Corá, Rio Grande do Norte State, came online. The projects consist of 20 wind turbines and 40MW capacity. Echoenergia is wholly-owned by private equity investment fund Ipiranga Fundo de Investimento em Participações, which is managed by Actis, a global investment company with a focus on emerging markets. The company was founded in 2016 and is domiciled in São Paulo.
