Elecnor México is a subsidiary of Elecnor Infraestructuras, part of Spanish firm Elecnor. It officially began operating in Mexico in 2002; however, the Spanish firm's activities in the country date back to 1992. The company is engaged in the sectors of electric power and power generation, oil & gas, telecom, construction and installation works. It also participates in several concessions with Mexico's Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) in projects such as the construction of the Morelos transmission pipeline and the Empalme II combined cycle plant. The company is headquartered in Mexico City.
