Metso México S.A. de C.V. is a division of multinational Finnish company Metso Oyj. It supplies equipment and services to the mining and pulp & paper industries, and it has two corporate offices, one in Queretaro state and other in Irapuato city, as well as service center located in Cananea, Sonora state. Its major projects include a contract with Mexican copper miner Buenavista del Cobre in 2013, owned by Grupo México, for installation and maintenance service of 38 feeders at the Cananea mine, aimed at doubling copper concentrate production capacity. In el 2016 it took part in the maintenance program at the concentrator plant of Minera del Norte's (Minosa) Hercules division. The subsidiary also implemented process and equipment upgrades at local company Unipak S.A and the board and paper plant San Juan del Río, owned by Cartones Ponderosa S.A.
