Electropampas S.A. is the Peruvian firm behind the Pampas Verdes Hydroelectric Project, a mega project comprised of four hydro plants —Tinyapay, Jarhuac, Pirca, and La Capilla— located on the Nasca river with an installed capacity of 2,524MW and which will generate 15,066GWh/y using the water flow from Caracha and Urabamba rivers, in Ayacucho department. The design also includes the construction of a 10,814km tunnel joining the two reservoirs, two 31km tunnels used to transport the water flow to the Nasca river, and the 80m-high Pucasura reservoir, from which water will be led to the power plants. The water will then be used to irrigate 218,015ha of land. The company is headquartered in Santiago de Surco, Lima, and was founded in 2002.
