Empresa Eléctrica de Guatemala S.A. (EEGSA) is a power distribution company founded in 1894 which operates as a subsidiary of utility company Grupo EPM since 2010 from its headquarters in the City of Guatemala. EEGSA operates within a 6,975 km2 area comprising the departments of Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, and Escuintla. EEGSA's subsidiaries are the electric power transmission and wholesale trading company Trelec; the electric power marketer Comegsa; and the power transmission infrastructure developer Enérgica.
