Description

The Argentine Ministry of Transportation was created in 2015 and is the result of a division of the former Ministry of the Interior and Transportation. The ministry is responsible for the various railroads around Argentina, bus lines, airports and the country's roads. It is responsible for designing and implementing policies for the development of transport in the country. The ministry also controls regulations and transport concessions and imposes penalties on those who violate them through the National Commission for Transport Regulation (CNRT).
