Description

Instituto de Águas e Esgotos do Piauí (Agespisa) is an autonomous company created by the Brazilian state of Piauí for the supply of water and sewage in the municipal districts of Piauí. Based in the city of Teresina, it was founded as a joint-stock company of the Piauí state in 1962 and transformed into an Institute in 2015 to access credit, due to the indebtedness of Piauí state. In 2016 Agesipia awarded the Teresina aqueduct and sewer project for the regional capital to Brazilian utility Aegea.
