Australia's Metminco Ltd is a mineral exploration company with a portfolio of projects in Chile, Peru and Colombia. The company's flagship project is the Los Calatos copper-molybdenum project in southern Peru which has an estimated mineral resource of 353Mt at 0.76% copper and 318ppm molybdenum (2015), held by Metminco's subsidiary Minera Hampton Perú. In Chile's centre-north Coquimbo region, Metminco's subsidiary Minera Hampton Chile holds the Mollacas copper, Vallecillo polymetallic and early-stage Loica copper-molybdenum projects through the company's acquisition in 2011 of Sociedad Contractual Minera Ovalle. Meanwhile, in June 2016 Metminco acquired Minera Seafield S.A.S from RMB Australia Holding Ltd. Minera Seafield, now-called Miraflores Compañia Minera S.A.S., owns the Quinchia portfolio of deposits in central Colombia. Quinchia comprises several deposits including Miraflores, Dosquebradas and Tesorito.
