AngloGold Ashanti Córrego do Sítio Mineração Ltda. (AGA Mineração) is a Brazilian company engaged in extraction and sale of ore, mainly gold. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Africa's multinational corporation AngloGold Ashanti. It operates two units in Minas Gerais state: the Cuiabá complex, comprised of Cuiabá and Lamego underground mines, and the Córrego do Sítio unit, consisting of one open-pit mine and two underground mines. In addition, AGA Mineração operates three plants in Sabará, Nova Lima, and Santa Bárbara. One of its plants, Queiroz, also produces sulphuric acid as a by-product for the domestic commercial market. The company was registered in 1976 and is headquartered in Nova Lima.
