Municipalidad Provincial de Huaral

The municipality of Huaral, capital of the namesake Peruvian province, is behind the Huaral wastewater treatment plant project. It involves the construction of a wastewater treatment plant, sewerage system and connecting infrastructure linking the plant to the city. The project will be developed under a public-private partnership model or as a concession, with the private company financing the entire works. The plant will have initial capacity to treat 25,000m3/d of water and maximum capacity of 36,000m3/d in its final stage.
