Petrobras Chile Distribución Ltda. (PCD) distributes and sells crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, petrochemicals and lubricants. With operations in the country since 2007, it works together with national oil company ENAP in the search for potential hydrocarbons and petrochemical projects. In 2008, Petrobras purchased ExxonMobil's stake in Esso Chile Petrolera and its related companies in the country. Petrobras' assets in Chile include 279 service stations, eight fuel distribution terminals, fuel operations at 11 airports and a lubricant plant, as well as a stake in two logistics companies. In May 2016, Petrobras S.A., the company's former owner, sold all its assets in PCD to the Southern Cross Group, an investment firm that manages US$2.9bn in industry assets throughout Latin America.
