Petroquímica Comodoro Rivadavia (PCR) is a private Argentine company created in 1921 involved in production and distribution of construction material, as well as hydrocarbon exploration and development. In the construction segment, it has five main product lines: Portland cement for the construction and oil sectors with brands Cementos Comodoro, Mampuestos Comodoro, Adoquines Comodoro and Adhesivos Listo. It also has production activities in two deposits in Neuquina basin, one in La Pampa (El Medanito area) and another in Mendoza (El Sosneado area), with concession contracts expiring in 2026 and 2025, respectively. The firm also has joint venture contracts for the Gobernador Ayala area, with concession contracts expiring in 2038 and Colhue Huapi area, developed in partnership with Petrominera. In Ecuador, it started operations in 1998 in the Palanda-Yuca Sur and Pindo deposits together with a group of Spanish companies. Its commercial office is located in Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut province.
