Colombia's Puertos, Inversiones y Obras S.A.S. (Pio S.A.S.), part of Grupo Empresarial del Pacífico (Gepsa), is engaged in developing, implementing and managing port infrastructure and logistic services and large-scale property projects in Colombia and Costa Rica. The Cali-based company also has oil and gas interests. Among its projects are the multi-purpose Antioquia port in the Gulf of Urabá on Colombia's Atlantic coast and the regasification port Solo in Buenaventura on Colombia's Pacific coast. In February 2017, it was announced that Cotema, a consortium comprised of French-Italian company Saipem and Colombia's Termotécnica Coindustrial, had won the contract to build Antioquia port.
