Sedgman S.A. is the Chilean subsidiary of Australian mineral processing provider Sedgman Ltd., which in turn belongs to Australian mining contractor CIMIC Group. The Santiago-based branch designs, builds and operates mineral processing plants. The firm develops EPC projects and its services include project evaluation, definition and development; studies development; consulting and infrastructure services; engineering; and acquisitions. In Chile, the company has been involved in different projects such as Endesa's thermoelectric plant Bocamina II and Barrick's copper mine Zaldívar.
