BNF increases lending 74% to US$736mn in 2010

Ecuadorian development bank Banco Nacional de Fomento (BNF) increased its loan disbursements to US$736mn last year for a 74% jump from 2009, the bank said in a press release.

The loans were issued to 477,000 clients, which are mainly micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Some US$30mn of the total amount was destined for loan renewals.
