Wednesday, January 12, 2011

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has appointed Mark Rosen as head of Latin America investment banking, where he will be in charge of the investment banking franchise across Latin America, except for Brazil, BofA Merrill said in a statement.

Rosen will also continue to hold his current position as head of the financial institutions group's investment banking coverage in Latin America, the role he has held since joining the bank in July last year.

Previously, Rosen spent 12 years at Credit Suisse (NYSE: CS) as head of Latin American and Caribbean financial institutions investment banking, and before that he was the head of the Latin America M&A division for Barclays (NYSE: BCS).
