Cabei, OAS to join forces to boost productivity, innovation

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (Cabei) and the Organization of American States (OAS) will join forces to promote productivity and innovation in the region, a press release from the former reads.

The agreement between the two organizations, to last for five years, will allow for more investment opportunities in Central American countries, as well as promoting social and economic development, Cabei said.

Honduras-based Cabei is one of the largest second-floor microfinance lenders in Central America. The multilateral was established in 1960 by the governments of five Central American states and now includes 13 member countries.
