Central bank tenders US$117mn in funds for long-term financing

Argentina's central bank BCRA has tendered funds worth 498mn pesos (US$117mn) to boost long-term financing for the country's productive sector, local daily La Nación reported.

The tenders are aimed at offering SMEs access to long-term funding in pesos.

A total of 13 financial institutions have participated in these tenders to date, the report said.
