Corporate, consumer delinquency expected to rise in next 6 months - Serasa

Bnamericas
Corporate and consumer delinquency in Brazil are expected to go up in the coming six months, in light of credit tightening measures and slower economic growth, credit information firm Serasa Experian said in a report. Serasa's six-month outlook for corporate delinquency went up in January for the first time after 20 consecutive months of decline. The outlook for consumer delinquency also increased in January, for the sixth consecutive month, due to increased levels of indebtedness among consumers and higher interest rates following monetary tightening measures by central bank BCB.
