Moody's raises outlook on BCP ratings to positive

Moody's raised the outlook on its foreign currency deposit ratings for Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), the country's largest bank, to positive following a similar move on the outlook for Peru's sovereign ceiling for foreign currency deposits.

In a release on the ratings action, Moody's said it had also affirmed BCP's ratings, as well as its ratings for Interbank, which have a stable outlook.

"Banco de Crédito del Peru's deposit rating is constrained by" the sovereign ceiling for foreign currency deposits, the release said.
