Results roundup: Credicorp, Intergroup, Grupo Security

Peru's largest financial services holding Credicorp (NYSE: BAP) saw third quarter net income rise 9.4% year-on-year to US$171mn, according to the company's earnings presentation. Credicorp's banking business produced loan growth of 22.3% in the 12 months through September and net earned insurance premiums were up 25.7% year-on-year in 3Q11. To read the full presentation, go to this link *** Intergroup Financial Services in Peru boosted its third quarter net profits by 45.5% year-on-year to a record 201mn soles (US$74.3mn), the group said in an earnings release. The earnings growth was driven by the strong performance of its banking and insurance units as well as higher fee income. To read the full release, go to this link *** Chilean financial services group Security posted earnings of 31.506bn pesos (US$63.5mn) for the first nine months this year, Grupo Security said in an earnings release that did not provide comparative figures. The group's ROE for January-September was 11.3%.
