Bolivia's state power company Ende has sent invitations to 10 consultants to submit offers for the study to value shares of nationalized generators Guaracachi, Corani and Valle Hermoso, and distributor Elfec.
The consultancy firms have until June 24 to deliver proposals, said Alarcon, who estimated that results of the study could be ready mid-July.
The interim managers of the generators and distributor have collected and classified all documents related to the economic financial state of the utilities, he added.
President Evo Morales on May 1 nationalized the companies which belonged to Ende prior to their privatization during ex-president Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada's 1993-97 administration.
