Guatemala's energy and mines ministry granted a definitive authorization to Hidroeléctrica El Raudal to install a 12MW hydroelectric plant that will use water from the Santa Amelia river in El Petén department.



Information from the energy environmental affairs office of Peru's energy and mines ministry reveals that Consorcio Transmantaro filed an EIS for 220kV transmission line Friaspata-Mollepata, and is scheduled to present the project to officials on Thursday.
