Pre-qualifiers for Mexico power auction revealed
Mexico's energy control agency CENACE published the names of pre-qualified companies for the fourth long-term power auction.
The results of the auction will be made public between December 7 and 18 while offers are due December 4.
The pre-qualified companies are X-Elio Energy, Ecoplexus, Neoen International, Vientos de Panabá, Renewable Investments, EDF Renewables Mexico, Jinko Power Latam Limited, Enel Rinnovabile, Atlas Renewable Energy Mexico, FRV Solar Holdings XVIII, 174 Mexico Holdings, Voltalia Mexico Renovables, Otras Producciones de Energia Fotovoltaica, Canadian Solar Energy Mexico, Baywa Re Desarrollos Solares, Proyecto Alternativa Energética de México, Consorcio Moctezuma, Invenergy Wind Development Mexico, Iberdrola Energia Monterrey, Impulsora de Generación Fotovoltaica de México, Engie México Eolica, Solar PV Holdings Mexico, Compañia de Electricidad Los Ramones, Tajín Energía, Solarcentury Mexico and CFE Generación IV.
CENACE also updated the economic indicators for the evaluation of bids, as well as exchange rates. Bids are expected to be close to the US$20.57MW per clean energy certificate reached in Mexico's third long-term power auction in November 2017.
