Average capacity in the month was 2,277MW and flow averaged 12,497m3/second. Power production in the first 11 months grew 2% to 18.7TWh.

Yacyretá is forecast to generate 20TWh this year, compared with 20.1TWh in 2013 and a high of 20.9TWh in 2011.

EBY previously said that above-average rainfall was expected through year-end for basins near the dam.

Recent developments regarding talks between the countries over Yacyretá treaty terms may advance efforts for a planned expansion at the dam.
