América Móvil to buy digital content provider

Latin American telecoms giant América Móvil (NYSE: AMX) has reached an agreement with Buenos Aires-based Claxson Interactive to buy 100% of its digital content firm DLA, AMX said in a filing with Mexico City bourse BMV.

The transaction, the value of which was not disclosed, is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to conclude before year-end.

Claxson Interactive's DLA is a developer, integrator and provider of on-demand digital content for Latin America's TV, internet and mobile industries.
