Further, CNT is investing in a project to deploy more than 1,000km of fiber optic network, which will allow more than 60,000 telephone lines to be delivered throughout the country.

CNT, formed as a result of a merger between Pacifictel and Andinatel in November 2008, offers fixed and mobile telephony, long distance services and broadband.
