TIM chooses Celcite's software solutions to manage network quality

Brazilian mobile carrier TIM has purchased automatic optimization tool and wireless network service provider Celcite's COPS-GEO software solution to manage, monitor and optimize subscriber experience, Celcite said in a statement. Celcite's COPS-GEO solution is expected to help TIM Brasil's network quality team to monitor and improve both voice and data services for its customers as well as analyze and resolve hot spots and other optimization-related issues. The solution provides TIM Brasil with 24/7 analysis of its most important subscribers, allowing both proactive customer engagement and the opportunity for targeted campaigns. The package includes cloud-based software solutions, implementation services and training. It will be partially deployed during Q4, followed by a nationwide solution deployment in the first quarter of 2012. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
