IN BRIEF: Colombia's EPM inks US$300mn loan
Colombian multi-utility EPM signed a US$300mn loan with Export Development Canada that will help finance the company's 7.2tn-peso (US$2.36bn) 2017-19 investment plan, which includes the Ituango hydroelectric project (pictured).
The loan is for five years, with principal payment due at maturity, does not require guarantees, is pre-payable and can be disbursed over 12 months, EPM said in a statement.
