Nicaragua's highway maintenance fund (Fomav) is preparing to auction off a series of highway maintenance contracts for the principal roadways in the Central American country, La Prensa reported.
The process has been delayed by the rejection of a number of clauses in the original documentation by state banks and the companies interested in participating, the report added. No date has been set yet.
At least six companies are expected to take part in the auction.
Fomav is a division of Nicaragua's transport & infrastructure ministry MTI.
