Argentina's Chaco province government is due to wrap up construction of a 100mn-peso (US$23.2mn) viaduct in Resistencia by end-2012, according to Chaco governor Jorge Capitanich.
Work is being carried out by the national roads department and the provincial government, according to a Chaco government release.
The project involves building a viaduct which will cross through Nicolás Avellaneda highway and over a traffic circle to the city.
Work also includes building a 207m bridge, 700m of access roads, lighting and signage.
The structure will handle heavy traffic flow from the nearby Ruta 16 highway, which forms part of the Bioceánico highway corridor.
