Ecuador's transport and public works ministry (MTOP) has completed studies for a project to repair roads in Manabí province capital Portoviejo.
MTOP is due in January to sign an agreement with the Portoviejo municipal government to approve the studies, according to MTOP's undersecretary of zone 4, Fernando Zambrano.
The studies involved technical components, drawing up paving designs, laboratory testing and more, according to an MTOP release.
A tender for the US$18mn project is slated to launch in March.
