Junior exploration roundup: Reunion Gold, TriStar Gold, Miranda Gold

Reunion Gold reported assay results from its drilling program at the Boulanger project in the north-central part of French Guiana.

The objective of this initial drilling program was to define the geometry and extent of known gold mineralization. The program consisted of twelve diamond drill holes for a total of 1,025m, completed at the end of May.

Results from one hole include 2.85m grading 5.22g/t gold. Results from a second hole include 7.50m grading 2.91g/t gold and results from a third hole include 6.10m grading 12.23g/t gold.

TriStar Gold reported assay results from the recently completed 42-hole drilling program at the Castelo de Sonhos project in Brazil.

Results include 3m grading 1.2g/t gold from surface, 9m grading 1.25g/t gold from 22m downhole and 6m grading 1.1 g/t gold from 54m downhole in one hole at Esperança South, and 6m grading 0.82g/t gold in a hole at Esperança East.

Miranda Gold reported about new applications in the Middle Cauca Belt in Colombia. The Middle Cauca Belt is prolific with gold porphyry, copper-gold porphyry, and epithermal gold districts and is the focus of intensive exploration in Colombia.

These new or expanded applications add to Miranda's Colombia portfolio and include: the Lyra project that adjoins Continental Gold's Buriticá project; an expansion of Miranda's Oribella project to adjoin Orosur Mining's Anza project, and the Kuntur project that adjoins AngloGold Ashanti's Quebradona (Nuevo Chaquiro) district.
