Junior exploration roundup: Santana, Royal Road, Neo Lithium

Australian miner Santana Minerals reported exploration results from its Cuitaboca silver project in Sinaloa, Mexico.

Highlights of reverse circulation drilling at the Mojardina Loop target included 52m of 127g/t silver, according to a statement. The company, which has drilled 10 holes, said it plans to drill a total of 24 at the property.

Channel Islands-based Royal Road Minerals published an exploration update at its La Golondrina gold project in Nariño, Colombia.

SGS Laboratories is analyzing samples from a scout drilling program at the property, the company said. Royal Road, which has applied for concessions totaling 162,000ha, added it is in talks with the Colombian government and other companies to form a public-private partnership for an airborne geophysical study.


Toronto's Neo Lithium released exploration details from its Tres Quebradas (3Q) lithium project in Catamarca, Argentina.

Drilling is to begin next week at the 35,000ha property after completing a geophysical study involving vertical electric sounding, the company said in a statement.
