Vancouver-based Lumina Gold has increased its previously announced private placement to Cdn$20mn (US$15.8mn) from Cdn$15mn, which is scheduled to close on or about November 29, according to a statement.

The proceeds will be used for the exploration and advancement of Lumina's projects in Ecuador and for general corporate purposes.

Argentina-focused Lithium Energi appointed Jack Lifton to its board of advisors, the company said in a press release.

Argentina Lithium & Energy acquired a 100% interest in, or has under application, mineral rights totaling 23,700ha covering the entire Incahuasi salt flat and basin in Catamarca province, and is now in the process of planning a detailed exploration program at the project, it said in a statement.
