Cryogenic plants increase Pemex dry gas production

The Pemex Gas y Petroquimica Básica (PGPB) subsidiary of Mexico's state oil company Pemex increased production of dry gas by 1.3% to 3.07 billion cubic feet a day (bcf/d) in the first quarter due to operations at new cryogenic plants, the company said in a statement.

Natural gas production was 3.87bcf/d, up 0.44% from 1Q03, while fractioned liquids, including ethylene, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and gasoline increased by 4.3% to 447,000 barrels a day.
