Argentina launches tender for final GNEA pipeline stretch

Argentine state-owned energy company Enarsa launched an EPC tender for the final 122km stretch of the US$3bn, 1,500km GNEA northeast natural gas pipeline.

Through the tender, which has an official budget of 1.203bn pesos (US$69.9mn), Enarsa will also seek bids for the "conditioning and finalization" of an already-installed 108km section, according to tender documents.

Offers are due on October 12.

The US$3bn GNEA project will connect to the Juana Azurduy pipeline in Bolivia, and will transport Bolivian natural gas to the Argentine national pipeline network.
